What goes in. CE-marked hyaluronic acid filler — Juvederm, Restylane or Belotero — blended with lidocaine for comfort and dissolvable with hyaluronidase. No calcium hydroxyapatite, no poly-L-lactic acid, nothing that cannot be taken back out.

Filler adds. It never takes away. That one fact settles most of what follows, and it is the honest starting point for anyone comparing a non-surgical nose job with surgery in Portsmouth.

Small differences side to side
Mild asymmetry can often be evened out with filler. Structural asymmetry, or a septum that affects how you breathe, is a surgical question and I will tell you so at the assessment rather than take the booking.
If you want a smaller nose

When I would say wait
Pregnancy and breastfeeding, an active skin infection over the nose, and some autoimmune conditions all mean waiting or not going ahead. Existing nose filler, or previous surgery, needs assessing first. Every treatment here except piercing is for adults only, over 18.

What happens
From the assessment to the result settling
The assessment
£15 on Fresha, deducted from your treatment. I look at your nose from the front and in profile, ask about previous filler, surgery and your medical history, and tell you which of the two treatments fits. Book a treatment directly and this happens at the start of that appointment with no separate fee.
On the day
Numbing cream goes on for 15 to 20 minutes, and while it works I go back over exactly what is changing and what is not. The appointment is 45 minutes either way, so nothing is rushed.
The filler
Small amounts, placed slowly, sitting you up between them so I can check the profile as I go. The filler is lidocaine-blended and most people describe pressure rather than pain.
After, and after that
You see the change the same day, though mild swelling can blur it for a day or two. Glasses off the nose for 48 hours, no gym or alcohol for 24. Results typically last 9 to 12 months, and the filler can be dissolved if you change your mind. Message me any time if something worries you.

Can a non-surgical nose job make my nose smaller?
No — and this is an important distinction. Nose filler adds volume and creates the optical illusion of improved shape and proportion. It can smooth bumps, lift a drooping tip, improve symmetry and add bridge height. However, it cannot physically reduce the size of the nose. If your primary goal is to make your nose smaller, surgical rhinoplasty would be the appropriate route. Natasha will be honest about what is achievable for your specific concerns at consultation.
How is a non-surgical nose job different from surgical rhinoplasty?
A non-surgical nose job uses hyaluronic acid filler, placed in small amounts, to change how the nose reads in profile and from the front. No anaesthetic, no incisions, no time off. Results typically last 9 to 12 months and the filler can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. Surgical rhinoplasty physically reshapes bone and cartilage under general anaesthetic, needs weeks of recovery, and is the route to take if the nose needs to be made smaller.
Who is not suitable for a non-surgical nose job?
A non-surgical nose job is not suitable for clients who want to significantly reduce the size of their nose, correct a structurally deviated septum or address major anatomical changes. It is also not suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have active skin infections in the treatment area, or have certain autoimmune conditions. If you have previously had surgical rhinoplasty, Natasha will assess carefully at consultation. All contraindications are reviewed at your consultation before any treatment proceeds.

Is a non-surgical nose job painful?
Discomfort is minimal. A topical numbing cream is applied to the nose for 15–20 minutes before treatment begins, making the procedure comfortable for most clients. Many HA fillers also contain built-in lidocaine, which further reduces sensation during treatment. Most clients describe the experience as mild pressure rather than pain.
Is a non-surgical nose job reversible?
Yes. Every filler used at House of Glam HQ is CE-marked hyaluronic acid, which can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase. If you are unhappy with the result, or if a problem arises, the filler can be taken back out. That is why only hyaluronic acid is used here — nothing that cannot be reversed.
Is there any downtime after a non-surgical nose job?
There is no recovery period, and most people go straight back to their day. Mild swelling and occasional bruising at the injection points are normal and usually settle within 24 to 48 hours. Keep glasses off the nose for 48 hours, avoid touching or pressing it, and skip strenuous exercise and alcohol for 24 hours.
Can I have a non-surgical nose job before or after surgical rhinoplasty?
It is generally advisable to dissolve all existing nose filler before undergoing surgical rhinoplasty, and to inform your surgeon of any previous filler treatments. If you have had surgical rhinoplasty in the past, a non-surgical nose job may still be possible — Natasha will assess your specific situation carefully at consultation and advise on whether treatment is appropriate.
