A course is paid once and booked once. The date you choose is session one; Natasha arranges the rest with you at that appointment, four to six weeks apart. Both courses are for the face.

What it helps, and what it will not
Microneedling makes thousands of tiny channels in the skin so the skin repairs itself and lays down new collagen. That suits some concerns far better than others, and it is worth knowing which before you pay for a course.
Acne scarring
Rolling and boxcar scars respond best: the scar tissue is broken up and new collagen forms underneath. Usually a course of six. How much changes depends on the type and depth of the scarring, and Natasha will tell you what is realistic before you book one.
Fine lines and texture
The most common reason people book. A course of three is the usual starting point, and the change builds over the four to six weeks after each session rather than appearing the same week. More on how long microneedling results last.
Large pores and dull skin
If your skin looks flat and the pores are the thing you notice in photographs, a single face session at £80 is a reasonable way to try it before committing to a course.
Stretch marks on the stomach
The stomach is treated at £120, typically over a course, for stretch marks and crepey texture after pregnancy or a change in weight. Older, silvery marks respond more slowly than newer ones.
Darker skin tones
Microneedling is mechanical rather than heat or light, so there is no risk of heat-related pigment change and every tone from I to VI can be treated. Your skin is assessed at the start of each session.
When it is not right
Not over active acne breakouts, rosacea, eczema or psoriasis in the treatment area, not with an active skin infection, not in pregnancy, and not within six months of Roaccutane. Microneedling here is for adults only, 18 and over.

Book the treatment and your consultation happens at the start of that appointment, with no separate fee. If you would rather talk it through before you commit, a standalone consultation is £15 on Fresha, deducted from your treatment if you go ahead.
Numbing
20 to 30 minutes. I clean the skin and put numbing cream on first, so the area is comfortable before the device goes near it. Most people describe what follows as a mild vibration rather than pain.
The treatment
20 to 30 minutes. I set the needle depth to what I am treating and work across the area in passes, then finish with a serum. You will leave with the aftercare written down, not recited at you.
After, and the next one
Expect redness like mild sunburn for 24 to 48 hours, and no makeup, acids, retinol or direct sun for two days. Sessions run four to six weeks apart; most people book three or six.

What is the downtime after microneedling?
Most clients experience redness and mild pinkness similar to sunburn, which typically settles within 24–48 hours. Swelling is rare and minor. You should avoid active skincare ingredients (retinol, acids), makeup and direct sun exposure for 48 hours after treatment. Most clients return to normal activities the same day.

When will I see microneedling results?
An improvement in skin radiance is often visible immediately after treatment as circulation increases. The main results — collagen remodelling, texture improvement and scar reduction — develop gradually over 4–6 weeks following each session. If you are completing a course, the most significant improvements are typically visible after session 3 and continue to improve after each subsequent treatment.
Is microneedling safe for all skin types?
Yes. Microneedling is suitable for all skin types and tones, including darker skin tones, because it works mechanically rather than with heat or light. That means there is no risk of heat-related pigment change. Natasha assesses your skin at every appointment to confirm suitability and set the needle depth for your skin type.
Who should not have microneedling?
Microneedling is not suitable if you have active acne breakouts, rosacea, eczema or psoriasis in the treatment area, active skin infections, or are pregnant. It is also not recommended for clients currently using Roaccutane or who have used it within the last 6 months. Suitability is always assessed by Natasha at your consultation before any treatment proceeds.
What is the difference between microneedling and RF microneedling?
Standard microneedling uses fine needles to create micro-channels and trigger collagen production through the wound-healing response. RF microneedling adds radiofrequency energy delivered through the needles, which heats the deeper layers of skin to stimulate additional collagen and tighten tissue. RF microneedling is more intensive and better suited to skin laxity and deeper concerns, while standard microneedling is effective for texture, scarring, pigmentation and general skin quality at a lower price point and with less downtime.
