Who I Am and How to Reach Me
This policy covers House of Glam HQ, the clinic at 1A Auckland Road East, Southsea, Portsmouth PO5 2HA, and this website, houseofglamltd.co.uk.
I am Natasha Oguntade. I am the only practitioner here and the data controller, which means I decide what information gets collected and what happens to it. Nobody else has access to your records.
The company behind the clinic is House of Glam HQ Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 15844053, registered office 23A The Precinct, London Road, Waterlooville, Hampshire PO7 7DT. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under reference A1120610.
Below I have set out what I collect, why I collect it, how long I keep it and what you can ask me to do with it. It follows the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What I Collect
Including information about your health
When you enquire, book or come in for treatment, I collect your name, email address, phone number, the treatment you are interested in and anything else you choose to tell me.
Because I carry out treatments, I also hold information about your health: the consultation form you complete, anything you tell me about medications, allergies, skin conditions or pregnancy, and my own notes on what was done and how you healed. Photographs are only taken if you agree to them, and they are only used for your clinical record unless you give me separate written permission to use them for anything else.
Data protection law calls health information “special category data” and treats it as more sensitive than the rest. I only ask for what I genuinely need to treat you safely, and I will tell you why if it is not obvious.
Under-18s. Piercing is the only treatment I offer to anyone under 18, from the age of 14, and only with a parent or guardian present to give consent. Nipple piercing is 18 and over. I check the accompanying adult’s photo ID so I can be sure who is consenting, and I record that I have seen it — I do not keep a copy. I hold the young person’s details and the consenting adult’s name, and the parent or guardian exercises the rights set out below on the young person’s behalf.

Why I Collect It
I use your information to answer your enquiry, arrange and confirm your appointment, assess whether a treatment is suitable for you, carry it out safely, keep an accurate record of what was done, and follow up afterwards. I also use it to take payment and to keep the accounts straight.
I will only send you marketing if you have asked for it, and you can tell me to stop at any time. I do not sell your information to anyone, ever.
The legal grounds I rely on are:
- Contract — to provide the treatment or course you have booked
- Explicit consent — for the health information on your consultation form, and for any photographs
- Consent — for marketing, which you can withdraw at any time
- Legal obligation — to keep treatment and financial records for the required period
- Legitimate interests — to run and improve the clinic and this website, where that does not override your rights
How I Store It and How Long I Keep It
Records are held electronically and, where paper forms are used, kept locked at the clinic. I am the only person with access to them. The booking system and the website are protected by the security measures those providers offer, and I keep the software up to date.
I follow the retention periods set out in the NHS Records Management Code of Practice, which is the standard used across UK healthcare and aesthetics:
- Treatment records — eight years after your last appointment.
- Piercing records for anyone under 18 — until their 25th birthday, which is the standard for under-18s and longer than the eight years above.
- Enquiries that do not lead to a booking — up to 12 months.
- Financial records — six years, as HMRC requires.
- Marketing preferences — until you withdraw your consent.
Once a record is past its retention period I delete or destroy it securely.
Your Rights
Your information belongs to you. Under data protection law you can ask me to:
- Show you what I hold about you, and give you a copy
- Correct anything that is wrong or out of date
- Delete it, where I am not required to keep it
- Restrict or object to what I do with it
- Send it to another provider in a portable format
- Stop marketing to you, at any time, with no reason needed

If you are not happy with how I have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. I would rather you came to me first so I can put it right, but it is your right either way.
Who Else Sees It, Cookies, and Other Sites
Who else handles your information. I do not sell it and I do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. It is passed on only where the treatment or the business genuinely needs it:
- Fresha, which runs my online booking, deposits and payments.
- The prescriber, for anti-wrinkle injections. Botulinum toxin is a prescription-only medicine, so a prescribing professional must review your details before a first treatment. They see only what is needed to prescribe safely.
- Klarna and my card payment providers, if you pay in instalments or buy a course online.
- My accountant and HMRC, for financial records.
- My insurer or a regulator, if I am legally required to disclose something.
Reviews are different: anything you post on Google, Fresha or Facebook is public because you chose to publish it, and I display those reviews on this site through Trustindex.
Cookies and website tracking. A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device so it can recognise it on your next visit. This site uses a few that are necessary for it to work at all, and analytics cookies through Google Analytics that tell me how many people visit, which pages they read and roughly where they came from. That data is about visits, not individuals, and I do not use it to identify you.
You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking analytics cookies will not stop the site working. If you want to know more about cookies generally, All About Cookies is a good plain-English explanation.
Links to other sites. This site links out to other websites. Once you leave houseofglamltd.co.uk I have no control over what happens to your information, so it is worth reading the privacy policy of any site you hand details to.
Changes to this policy. I update this page when what I do changes. The date at the top tells you when it was last revised.
