Questions people ask
Do I need experience with injectables?
Yes. This assumes you already place filler with a needle and understand the anatomy underneath it.
Is a cannula safer than a needle?
It reduces the risk of entering a vessel, which is why it is used in higher-risk areas. It does not remove the risk, and it does not remove the need to know the anatomy. That is covered honestly on the day.
Will I be able to get insured for cannula work?
The certificate is CPD accredited and is accepted by UK aesthetics insurers. Tell your insurer what you have been trained in and they will confirm your cover.
