I am Natasha, the sole practitioner here, and I carry out every treatment myself. I have written this because the lip flip is the treatment I most often end up talking someone out of, and I would rather do that now than after you have paid. It is a small, clever treatment that suits a particular mouth. If what you actually want is more lip, filler does that job and a lip flip does not, so both price lists are below and you can decide with the real numbers in front of you.
What exactly does a lip flip do?
A lip flip is a very small dose of botulinum toxin placed along the top edge of the muscle that circles your mouth. The muscle relaxes slightly, so instead of curling inwards and disappearing when you smile, the upper lip rolls a little outwards and shows more of its pink. The lip is not bigger. It is the same lip, sitting differently.
That distinction is the whole treatment. Nothing is added and the change is measured in millimetres. It suits two people in my experience. One is the person whose top lip vanishes the moment they smile. The other shows a band of gum above their teeth when they laugh and would rather not.
How much does a good lip flip cost?
Here, £150 for the treatment and £25 for the prescriber consultation the first time. No unit pricing, no quote at the end.

Klarna is available on treatments over three monthly payments, which puts the treatment itself at £50 a month.

Why is a lip flip so cheap?
Because it uses a tiny amount of product and the injecting takes minutes. Compared with a syringe of filler, there is very little going into your face, and the price reflects that.
The catch is that the sticker price and the annual price are different questions. The muscle around your mouth is one of the busiest in your body. It works every time you speak, eat, drink and smile, so it recovers from a small dose faster than your forehead does. Price a lip flip by the appointment and it looks like the economical option. Price it by the year and it usually is not. That is the honest answer, and it is the reason the next section matters more than this one.
How long does a lip flip really last?
Anti-wrinkle injections generally last three to six months. A lip flip sits at the short end of that, and for plenty of people it is shorter still, for the reason above.
You will start to see it at three to five days and it settles at around fourteen, which is why the 14-day review is included rather than sold as an extra. That appointment is where I look at what your muscle actually did, not what it was supposed to do.
I am not going to give you a number in weeks. How long yours lasts depends on how hard that muscle works, and I would be making it up. What I will tell you at the review is what I am seeing and when I would expect you back. Is a lip flip better than lip filler?
For most people who ask me for a lip flip, no. Here is the comparison with both sets of real prices, because this is the decision that actually costs money.

A lip flip is £150 and lasts a matter of months. 1ml of Classic lip filler is also £150, and lip filler typically lasts six to twelve months because the lips move so much. Same money, different calendar.
They also do different things. Filler is hyaluronic acid gel, so it adds volume, shape and border definition, and you can see the result the day you have it. It is CE-marked, blended with lidocaine for comfort, and fully reversible with hyaluronidase if you ever change your mind. A lip flip adds nothing and reverses nothing. You wait for it to wear off.
So the honest split is this. If your top lip rolls under and disappears when you smile, or you show more gum than you would like, a lip flip is the right treatment and filler will not fix either problem. If you want your lips to look fuller, filler is the treatment and a lip flip will disappoint you. What a lip flip will not do
- It will not make your lips bigger. Nothing is added, so there is no extra volume to see.
- It will not change your lower lip. The treatment works on the upper lip only.
- It will not rebuild a lip border that has softened with age. That needs structural support, not muscle relaxation.
- It will not be dramatic in a photograph. The change is measured in millimetres and it shows most when you are talking or smiling.
- It will not be reversible. Filler can be dissolved. A lip flip cannot, so if it is not for you, you wait it out.
What are the downsides of a lip flip?
Your top lip feels different for a while. Drinking through a straw, whistling and certain sounds can be briefly awkward while the muscle is relaxed, and some people notice that far more than others. It settles. It is still worth knowing before rather than after.
Dose is the other one, and it is the part that separates a good lip flip from a bad one. Too much in that muscle and the top lip goes flat and unhelpful when you speak, which is the opposite of what anybody books it for. Being conservative here matters more than being generous.
And it wears off sooner than anything else on my anti-wrinkle menu, with nothing to dissolve if you want it gone faster.
How many units does a lip flip take?
Far less than a standard treatment area. It is a small, precise dose along the upper lip, and the exact amount is a clinical decision made at your prescriber consultation, based on how strong that muscle is and how your smile moves.
You are not buying units here. The lip flip is a fixed £150 whether your dose is at the lower or upper end of what is appropriate, which means nobody has a reason to talk you into more product than you need.
Who I would say no to
Anyone who wants a visibly fuller lip. That is filler, and selling a lip flip to someone who wanted volume is how a client ends up disappointed and out of pocket.
Anyone whose living depends on precise use of their mouth. If you sing, play a wind instrument or speak for a living, I would want a proper conversation about whether a temporary change in that muscle is worth it to you. Usually it is not.
Anti-wrinkle injections are not suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, and every treatment here except ear and body piercing is for adults only. If you have had toxin recently elsewhere, tell me when and where, because timing matters.
What happens when you book one
Before a first anti-wrinkle treatment you need a prescriber consultation. That is a legal requirement for a prescription-only medicine, not a clinic policy, and it is £25 paid once per prescription period rather than every visit. It is where the dose is agreed and where your medical history is checked properly.
The treatment appointment itself is about half an hour, most of which is talking and mapping rather than injecting. You will see the change from around day three to five and it settles by day fourteen, which is when the included review happens. The person who assesses you is the person who treats you and the person you message afterwards, because that is me every time.
