Terms and conditions
The terms you agree to when you book a course with the House of Glam HQ Training Academy. They cover what you pay and when, moving your date, cancelling, and what happens if I have to cancel.
Who these terms apply to
These terms apply to every course booking, however you pay and wherever on this website you pay it.
That means they apply whether you pay a deposit or the full fee, and whether you pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or through a finance provider. Booking a course and making any payment towards it means you accept what is on this page.
If you are booking on behalf of someone else, please make sure they have read this page too. The terms follow the place on the course, not the person who paid for it.
What you pay, and when
You can secure your place either by paying a deposit or by paying for the course in full. Your place is not held until one of those has been paid, and dates are not reserved on a promise to pay.
If you have paid a deposit, the balance is due no later than 48 hours before your course date. If the balance is not paid by then you may lose your place, and the deposit is not returned.
Moving your course date
If you need to move your course date, I need at least 14 days’ notice. This is the part people ask about most, so here it is plainly.
- With at least 14 days’ notice, whatever you have already paid moves with you to the new date. That applies to a deposit and to a course you have paid for in full.
- With less than 14 days’ notice, what you have paid is not carried over, and booking a new date means paying for it again.
The reason is straightforward. Every course here is taught one to one, so your date is a day held open for you and nobody else. Once it is inside 14 days I cannot fill it, and the day is gone whether you are there or not.
Deposits are not refundable at any stage, whether you move your date or cancel altogether.
If you cancel or cannot attend
If you cancel your course, your deposit is not refunded.
If you have paid in full and you then cancel, or you do not turn up on the day, the fee is not refunded.
If something serious happens, tell me as early as you can. I would far rather hear from you in good time than find out on the morning.
Paying by finance
If you pay using a finance option, these apply as well as everything above.
- Your place is not secured until your application has been approved by the finance provider.
- Once it is approved, the finance plan cannot be cancelled.
- If you cancel your course after finance approval, you are still responsible for the full repayments.
- If you do not attend, or you give less than 14 days’ notice to move your date, the repayments continue. You will also need to pay again for a new date unless it is rescheduled under the original plan.
What you confirm when you book
By booking a course with House of Glam HQ, you confirm that:
- You will provide any required previous qualification certificates when they are requested.
- You agree to attend on the dates and at the times agreed for your course.
- The personal details you have given are accurate and up to date.
- You consent to photos and videos being taken during training for House of Glam HQ to use on social media. Tell me on the day if you would rather not be filmed or photographed and that is absolutely fine.
If I have to cancel
If I have to cancel your course for any reason, I will offer you alternative dates, and whatever you have paid moves to the date you choose.

Ask before you book, not after
If anything here is unclear, or you are not sure a course is the right one for you, message me first. I would rather answer the question than take a booking you regret.
