A peel is a controlled injury, and the control is the whole skill. Which acid, at what strength, on which skin, for how long, and when to take it off early. This half day is as much about skin typing and knowing when to stop as it is about application.

How booking works

  1. Step onePay for your placeCourse fees are paid in full at checkout by card. Klarna is for treatments, not training.

What the chemical peel session covers

  1. 01Skin anatomy and skin typingAssessing skin properly, including the darker skin types where a peel carries a real risk of pigmentation if you get it wrong.
  2. 02Acid selectionWhat the common peel acids do, what they suit, and how strength and pH change the answer.
  3. 03Application, timing and neutralisingPrep, layers, watching the skin rather than the clock, and taking it off at the right moment.
  4. 04Contraindications and reactionsWho you do not peel, what a normal response looks like, and what to do when it is not one.
  5. 05Aftercare and treatment plansSun protection, what the client must not do, and planning a course rather than selling one appointment.

Questions people ask

Can I peel darker skin types?

With the right acid, the right strength and proper preparation, yes — and knowing where the limits are is a large part of this session.

Thinking about more than one skin course?

Message me before you pay. If two or more of these are on your list, Step Into Skin at £799 will save you money.
