Who anti-wrinkle injections suit, and who should wait
Anti-wrinkle injections relax the muscle that makes a line, so they work on lines caused by movement, not on lost volume. This is what people come to me with, and the line that rules you out for now. If your worry is looking frozen, I have written about that: will I look frozen?
Forehead or frown lines you can see at rest
The horizontal lines from raising your brows, and the vertical 11s from frowning. If they are still there when your face is relaxed, relaxing the muscle typically softens them over the two weeks that follow. £170 for one area, £210 for both.
Crow’s feet
The lines that fan out from the corners of the eyes when you smile. Both sides count as one area, £170, and with the forehead and frown lines they make up the £250 three-area treatment.
A gummy smile or a thin top lip
A lip flip is a small dose along the top lip so it rolls out a little when you smile, £150. It does not add volume. If what you want is fuller lips, that is lip filler, and I will say so.
Clenching, grinding or a wide lower face
Masseter treatment relaxes the chewing muscle on both sides, £180. The clenching typically eases first; the slimming follows as the muscle rests, so the change in your profile is gradual.
Underarm sweating (hyperhidrosis)
Hyperhidrosis treatment typically reduces underarm sweating for months at a time, from £350. The exact price is confirmed at the prescriber consultation.

The £25 prescriber consultation
Legally required before a first treatment, paid once per prescription period. Message or call me and I arrange it. The areas and the exact price are agreed before anything starts.
The treatment
About 15 to 20 minutes. A few small injections per area with a very fine needle. Most people describe a brief pinch, and most do not need numbing cream.
Straight after
Stay upright for four hours, do not rub the area, and leave exercise and alcohol until tomorrow. The tiny marks fade within the hour, and most people carry on with their day.
Results, and the 14-day review
Results typically show in 3 to 5 days and settle by 14 days. I see you at 14 days for a review, included at no charge. A treatment typically lasts 3 to 6 months.

The one people worry about is a heavy brow or a drooping eyelid, which happens when the product spreads to a muscle it was not meant for. It is uncommon, it wears off as the treatment does, and it is the reason I keep to conservative doses on a first visit and see you again at 14 days. Allergic reactions are rare. Botulinum toxin is a prescription-only medicine, so a prescriber assesses you before a first treatment (£25) and you tell me about any medical history, medicines or pregnancy before anything is booked. Stay upright and avoid rubbing the area for four hours, and skip exercise, alcohol and heat for the rest of the day.
